With my busy schedule, lunch is most times a mad dash to find substanance that is quick, reasonably priced, and great tasting. I have managed to find all three desires met without fail at Alva Market, located at the corner of Flynn and 7th Street. The deli/bakery has a daily special that includes two sides for $5.99. From meatloaf to catfish, stuffed peppers (a recent GREAT lunch!), lasagna and so much more. You can dine-in at the boothes in the front store area or take-out. I have found that for my luncheon needs they are by far the best bet; lines are minimal if at all, food is hot, homemade recipe style and delicious! You don't have to get the full meal but can get just the entre for around $3.00. Give the Alva Market Deli a try on your next lunch hour - you won't be disappointed.
