The Alva Regional Airport Terminal is located just south of Alva on U.S. Highway 281. This jet-capable airport is top notch and offers fuel and transportation to visitors who fly in to the region. The Terminal building also houses the Alva Air Museum which features artifacts from the area’s flight and air history. Did you know that Cessna began just a few miles east at Jet, Oklahoma? Cessna’s 60,000th customer was from Alva and photos are available on site which describe the purchase. WWII Air Artifacts are on display as are airplane parts and many other photos of early-day planes and pilots from the region. If you are an “air” fan, be sure to stop by the terminal to check out the collection on display. Staff are on duty daily, so we welcome you to come in for a visit and “look-see”.
